2.ASSESS

Our registered nurse will assess your medical needs to see if you meet the Ocean Hills eligibility criteria. 

After we’ve spoken to you and fully understand your situation, we can arrange for you to meet with our specially trained registered nurse to take you through a medical pre-assessment and check that you meet the Ocean Hills eligibility criteria. You can expect to answer questions about your medical history and provide other information so that a doctor can make a clinical decision about what treatment and other support you might need.

3.REVIEW

You will see a qualified medical doctor – usually a GP – to review your medical history, perform clinical tests, and set up any treatment and support you may need. 

A doctor will discuss with you how best to tackle your addiction from a clinical standpoint, and set up a treatment plan with any medicine you might need. Once your immediate medical needs have been taken care of, you can begin your recovery programme at Ocean Hills.

4.BEGIN

You will begin your Ocean Hills stay when our entry criteria are met and completed. 

A usual stay at Ocean Hills is around two weeks. Under the care of our medical team and guidance of other addiction professionals, your journey to wellness and freedom from addiction can now begin.
